Legalise Cannabis MP Brian Walker has spoken of his determination to push through changes to Western Australia’s medicinal cannabis regulations after warning the current framework is restricting access to medicine and damaging people’s health.
The Select Committee into Cannabis and Hemp, chaired by Walker, has made 16 recommendations to the state government, including changes to drug-driving laws and increasing the daily THC prescribing limit from 40mg to “at least” 100mg.
