Monthly medicinal cannabis prescriptions through the Special Access Scheme broke 6,000 for the first time in September, latest figures have shown.
A total of 6,206 prescriptions were written in the month, a rise of nearly 18% on the August figure of 5,270 and up 113% on September 2019.
