James Vosper has been elected president of the NSW Industrial Hemp Association, replacing Andrew Katelaris who has held the position for the last two years.

Vosper is active in the medicinal cannabis industry and CEO of Carbon Futures, a company dedicated to assisting farmers in carbon accounting and trading.

He is vice president of the Australian Industrial Hemp Alliance and represents Australia on the Federation of Industrial Hemp Organisations’ sustainability committee.

Arthur Wajs, whose Hemp Fields Australia company is involved in nutritional hemp products for pets, will serve as vice president. 

Joining the association’s committee are regenerative farmer, soil scientist and global consultant Dr Mary Cole and Riverlands founder and hempcrete fence post and rail system inventor Kevin Wortes.
