Little Green Pharma has signed a five-year deal with Medezin Sp. z.o.o for the distribution of its medicinal cannabis products in Poland.

LGP will supply medicinal cannabis oils and flower to Medezin on an exclusive basis subject to it meeting sales targets, including capturing a minimum 20% of the oil market and at least 10% of the high-THC flower market.

LGP managing director Fleta Solomon said: “Our distribution agreement with Medezin reflects LGP’s strategic ambition to acquire and maintain a substantial share of the total addressable market in each jurisdiction we supply.”

Althea

Althea has exported its first commercial shipment of medicinal cannabis to licensed cannabis wholesaler Africann, the company’s local partner in South Africa.

Althea told the ASX South Africa represents a big opportunity for the company, with the legal medicinal cannabis industry estimated to be worth approximately US$667 million by 2023.

Margaret River Hemp Co

Margaret River Hemp Co has won a $399,000 grant from the Western Australia state government’s Value Add Agribusiness Investment Attraction Fund and Industrial Hemp Grants Scheme.

The investment will enable it to process locally grown hemp into hurd, fibre and fines for the building and textile industries from its new hemp processing facility.

Medlab Clinical

Medlab Clinical has been granted patent protection for its Nanocelle delivery platform by the European and Canadian patent offices until 2036.

Nanocelle, Medlab’s proprietary sub-micron delivery system, has several applications in Australia, including Nanabis for cancer bone pain and NanoCBD for anxiety and stress.

The company is awaiting a decision from the Singapore and United States patent offices.
