A small-scale study exploring the effects of CBD on patients with kidney failure has delivered promising results with three of seven people who completed the trial showing significant improvements in their health.
The trial, run by iX Biopharma and led by Dr Brendan Smyth from the NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre, was described as an “important first step” in the potential treatment of kidney disease with CBD.
