Cannim Group has completed the acquisition of UK wellness retailer and distributor Savage Cabbage in a cash-and-shares deal.

Founded in 2016, Savage Cabbage serves customers in more than 40 countries with full-spectrum CBD products using organically grown hemp. Its range is available online and in-store with new UK retailers to be announced soon.

Cannim, which has been working with Savage Cabbage since the beginning of the year, described the acquisition as a “significant milestone” for the firm, “strategically positioning it in the UK and European markets with a proven, talented team”. 

Savage Cabbage founder and CEO Jade Proudman will continue in the role and work with the Cannim team to accelerate the growth of the business worldwide.

Proudman said: “Cannim already feels a natural home for the brand that my family and I have carefully grown, and I’m looking forward to the next chapter of a journey that has brought me and my loyal customers out of pain and ill health into a place of endless possibility.”
