Victoria’s long-awaited cannabis driving trial, which was due to take place in the coming months, has been delayed for two years, raising doubts that the issue will be resolved before the 2o26 state elections.

Legalise Cannabis MP David Ettershank said party officials were told that the closed-track trial, to be run by Swinburne University, will not go ahead until the middle of 2026.
