Vitura Health’s first order of MDMA and psilocybin under its joint venture with Canada-based research and development firm PharmAla is expected to be delivered in September as it prepares for the first prescriptions of psychedelics medicine to be written for patients.
The JV, called Cortexa, was formed in May following regulator approval for Authorised Prescriber psychiatrists to prescribe the drugs for treatment resistant depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
