Researchers in the US have found that vaporised cannabis can ease headaches and migraines after conducting what is understood to be the first randomised, placebo-controlled study of its kind.
The research, carried out between November 2020 and February 2023 by the University of California San Diego, tested CBD 11% only, THC 6% only and a THC/CBD mix against a placebo in people experiencing acute migraines.
