Around a third of the near-60 companies exhibiting at the United in Compassion Symposium may have been breaking regulations and illegally advertising medicinal cannabis.

Mills Oakley partner Teresa Nicoletti, a co-founder of the Australian Medicinal Cannabis Association (AMCA), said under the “letter of the law” a number of firms could face enforcement action for their booths at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, some of which featured product displays.
