The Cannabis Edibles Global Market Trajectory and Analytics Report has found that solid edibles are set to experience 22.5 per cent compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in countries where they are legal and reach a global market value of US$9.2 billion by the end of 2027.

Amid the Covid-19 crisis, the global market for cannabis edibles, estimated at US$2.9 billion in the year 2020, is projected to reach a revised size of US$11.8 billion by 2027, growing at a CAGR of 22.3 per cent over the analysis period (2020-2027).

The cannabis edibles market in the US is estimated at USD$863.1 million in the year 2020. 

China, the world’s second largest economy, is forecast to reach a projected market size of USD$2.1 billion by 2027, with a CAGR of 21.8 per cent over the analysis period. 

Among the other noteworthy geographic markets are Japan and Canada, each forecast to grow at 19.9 per cent and 19 per cent respectively over the period. Within Europe, Germany is forecast to grow at approximately 15.6 per cent CAGR.
