Approvals for medicinal cannabis prescriptions under category B of the Special Access Scheme climbed t0 4,640 in June, according to official figures released by the Therapeutics Goods Administration.

It represents another record figure, jumping almost 500 from the May all-time high of 4,133.

The June number is almost 200% higher than the same month last year and brings the SAS-B prescription approval total in the first half of 2020 to 22,783.
