Seth Rogen has become the latest celebrity to join the greenrush with the launch of his cannabis brand Houseplant in the US.

As well as Rogen’s favorite strains, Houseplant includes accessories such as table lighters, a vinyl box set and an ashtray set designed by the actor.

Rogen and business partner Evan Goldberg initially launched the brand in Canada as a line of pre-rolled joints and softgel capsules, but from March 11 it will be made available in California, initially on the Houseplant website and then in dispensaries.

Rogen said: “Houseplant was born out of our love and passion for cannabis, design and art. Evan and I also recognize that our lifelong dream of starting a cannabis lifestyle brand like Houseplant comes with a commitment to changing the unjust and racist cannabis laws that still exist in today’s society.

“We understand our responsibility to help right those wrongs and are dedicated to creating a more diverse, equitable cannabis industry.”
