The Australian Medicinal Cannabis Symposium will take place in Brisbane in August with three days of networking, learning and training and an exclusive discount for Cannabiz members.

This year’s highlights include:

  • A program curated by the Lambert Initiative spotlighting emerging research from Australia and overseas with top international researchers Professor Ryan Vandry and Associate Professor Ziva Cooper (US) and Dr Jan Ramaekers (Netherlands) among the speakers. 
  • A one-day nurses conference, sponsored by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation, with CPD points available. 
  • An accredited pharmacist education program focusing on the therapeutic uses of medicinal cannabis, supply management and the regulatory requirements of dispensing. The program is being developed by Sydney University Pharmacy School in collaboration with community and hospital pharmacists.
  • RACGP-accredited training for healthcare practitioners presented by the Society of Cannabis Clinicians Australian Chapter with CPD hours available.
