Pastilles accounted for almost three out of 10 approved prescriptions through the Special Access Scheme in January as doctors continued to favour the edible medication over oil.

The Therapeutic Goods Administration rubber stamped 18,300 medicinal cannabis prescriptions last month, 5,390 for pastilles, 29.4% of the total.
