Zelira Therapeutics has said it will lodge its delayed half year and full year financial reports “shortly” and seek reinstatement to the Australia Securities Exchange.

The company was suspended from the ASX in March after failing to submit accounts on time.

It said the lodgements will follow the imminent closure of a fundraising campaign which has delivered US$36.5 million (A$52m) for Zelira’s Hope cannabinoid clinical trial program targeting autism.

Global managing director and chief executive Dr Oludare Odumosu admitted the funding has “taken longer than expected” but said progress has been made.

“We remain confident in Hope and the opportunity it represents,” he said. “Our priorities are clear and we are ready to move ahead with focus and urgency once the funding is received.”

Chairman Osagie Imasogie added that Zelira was “laser focused” on progressing the clinical trial program with the US Food and Drug Administration.

Epsilon Healthcare

Medicinal cannabis manufacturer Epsilon Healthcare delivered a 34% increase in customer receipts in the third quarter as the company reporting growth across all divisions.

The performance took year to date revenue to $11.5m – almost $4m generated in the September quarter – 80% higher than the previous corresponding period.

Net cash used in operating activities totalled $500,000.

Managing director and chief executive Peter Giannoloulos said: “Record customer receipts, sustained revenue growth and increasing commercial activity across our operating divisions demonstrate the progress we are making in building a diversified, integrated healthcare group.”
