Medigrowth has become an official Endometriosis-friendly workplace after completing an accreditation program with Endometriosis Australia.
The EndoThrive initiative is designed to build awareness and provide guidance and advice in how firms can support staff suffering from the condition.
Despite affecting an estimated one in seven women in Australia, endometriosis is often overlooked in the workplace, the advocacy group says.

Studies have delivered promising results in treating the symptoms of endometriosis with Medicinal cannabis.
“Symptoms can affect attendance, performance, career progression, and psychological safety, long before employees feel safe to ask for support,” the Endometriosis Australia website states.
Medigrowth chief executive Adam Guskich said: “Our core mission has always been to improve quality of life, and we know firsthand how devastating endometriosis can be for patients. But true advocacy starts from within. We cannot champion patient care without first ensuring our own team members feel safe, supported, and understood when managing chronic pain.”
Medigrowth medical and research director Dr Ashleigh Osborne said was proud of how staff approached the program.
“Launching this initiative was deeply important to myself and our founders, but seeing the overwhelming enthusiasm and empathy from our staff has been truly rewarding,” she said.
