Mississippi has joined 36 other US states in legalising medicinal cannabis after Governor Tate Reeves signed the Mississippi Medical Cannabis Act into law.
The Governor said limiting patients to three ounces of cannabis per month, or 3.5 grams per day, would curb recreational use and result in “hundreds of millions’ fewer joints on the streets” compared to the original version of the bill.
