Mind Medicine is a charity that enables the development of regulatory-approved and research-backed psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy for the treatment of mental ill-health in Australia. In this video, we chat to Peter Hunt MA, chair at Mind Medicine Australia, about what psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy can learn from the cannabis industry.

As Peter explains: “People are more and more distinguishing between the the recreational drug cannabis and the medical use of cannabis. That has helped us explain that psychedelics and MDMA can be used in a medical environment, they can be used safely, they’re not addictive. So we owe a great debt to the cannabis industry in the way they’ve opened up people’s mind to the medical use of these substances.”
