Medicinal cannabis companies offering online consultations could fall foul of draft guidelines issued by the Medical Board of Australia (MBA) which warn against the practice for first-time patients.

According to a report in Australian Doctor, the board is consulting on updates to its telehealth guidelines which include specific warnings about prescribing to new patients.
