The merger of Medicinal Cannabis Industry Australia and the Australian Medicinal Cannabis Association has taken a major leap forward after a period of due diligence found no reason why the two organisations should not come together to form one heavyweight industry body.
To applause from delegates at the ACannabis conference in Melbourne, AMCA chairwoman Dr Teresa Nicoletti said the deal has been given the “green light” by lawyers with the next step involving the creation of an amalgamated constitution and a “new structure”.
