Lifestyle guru Martha Stewart has partnered with Canopy Growth to launch a range of cannabis-infused oil drops and soft-baked chews for dogs.

The products are designed to support mental and physical well-being, reduce stress and maintain joint health and mobility.

As COVID-19 lockdowns are scaled back in some parts of the world, demand for cannabis-based pet products is rising as owners look to assuage their charge’s stress levels when they return to work.

Stewart said: “My dogs are not only my companions, but they are part of my family, and I prioritize their emotional and physical well-being as I do my own.”

“Just as CBD can support human wellness, it’s been shown to improve the quality of life for pets as well.”

Canopy Animal Health director of veterinary technical and educational services Dr Bob Menardi added: “Martha Stewart CBD for Pet is the happy marriage of Canopy’s science-first approach to animal well-being and Martha Stewart’s passion for providing animal lovers with the tools to enrich their pets’ lives.

“Together, we’re bringing consumers an accessible and effective way to live better.”

Products range from US$19.99 to $24.99.
