Little Green Pharma has struck a three-year deal to sell LGP-branded medicinal cannabis oils in Germany.

The WA-based firm has signed an agreement for pharmaceutical supplier AMP to purchase and distribute two oils on an exclusive basis and three on a non-exclusive basis.

It will require AMP to purchase and distribute at least 2,000 50ml bottles in the first year, 5,000 in the second and 10,000 in year three.

“AMP represents a trusted and exclusive partner in Germany,” LGP said in a statement. “LGP anticipates AMP’s significant marketing and scale capabilities will help further grow patient and prescriber recognition of the LGP brands across its product suite.”

While LGP will be free to market and distribute product on its own behalf after the first year of the agreement, if it does so the quantities AMP is required to buy in years two and three will reduce by 50%.

The agreement is conditional on AMP completing a supplier qualification which is expected in the second quarter of 2022.
