Legalise Cannabis WA candidate Sophia Moermond has been confirmed as the new member for the South West region after preference harvesting saw her take her place in the Upper House with two per cent of the vote.
Her victory was made possible by deals among micro-parties, who took turns in preferencing each other high in one region to boost their percentage of the vote.
