Montu-owned medicinal cannabis wholesaler, Leafio, has opened a new distribution warehouse in Sydney, complementing its existing facilities in Brisbane and Melbourne.
Leafio general manager Nicole Le Maistre said the Sydney operation would create a more comprehensive distribution network and allow the firm to dispatch a higher volume of orders each day.
“Nearly a third of the country’s population lives in New South Wales, and we are actively addressing existing gaps in the supply chain, ensuring that pharmacies across the NSW region and beyond can fulfil the evolving needs of their patients in a timely manner,” she said.
Leafio, whose revenues grew by 700% from FY23 to FY24, currently supports more than 3,000 pharmacies. The Sydney facility will supply a range of nearly 1,000 products across 100 brands and enable same-day deliveries to metro pharmacies.
“We look forward to strengthening and diversifying our range and reach to ensure these medications are more accessible to those who need them most,” added Le Maistre.
