Early-bird sales for this year’s Australian Medicinal Cannabis Symposium close on Friday (June 30), and there’s still time for Cannabiz members to save a further A$100 on a three-day pass.

This year’s event will see pioneers of medicinal cannabis – and co-founders of CBD medicine Charlotte’s Web – Joel and Jesse Stanley fly into Brisbane to address the Australian industry.

Other highlights include:

  • A program curated by the Lambert Initiative spotlighting emerging research from Australia and overseas with top international researchers Professor Ryan Vandry and Associate Professor Ziva Cooper (US) and Dr Jan Ramaekers (Netherlands) among the speakers.
  • A one-day nurses conference, sponsored by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation, with CPD hours available.
  • An accredited pharmacist education program focusing on the therapeutic uses of medicinal cannabis, supply management and the regulatory requirements of dispensing developed by Sydney University Pharmacy School in collaboration with community and hospital pharmacists.
  • RACGP-accredited training for healthcare practitioners presented by the Society of Cannabis Clinicians Australian Chapter, also with CPD hours available.

The Symposium takes place at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from August 11 to 13 with early-bird tickets available until Friday.

To take advantage of a $100 discount off a three-day, non-member, pass (usual early-bird price $990), enter the code CANNABIZ when making a booking.
