The number of Australians seeking cannabis for medical reasons remained steady over the past three years – but those accessing it through legal pathways exploded, according to new data.
In findings released this morning by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW), 3% of Australians sought medical relief from cannabis during the survey period (mid-2022 to mid-2023).
