The results of a US human clinical study of Nitro-V, a new hemp extract from ECS Brands, show weight loss in all test subjects without changes to diet or exercise.

The randomised double-blind and placebo-controlled human clinical trial found all 100 subjects taking Nitro-V experienced weight loss without lifestyle changes.

Participants’ average body mass index (BMI) dropped by three points, with some losing 22 pounds (9.97kg) over a 90-day period. Other results showed a 61% reduction in hunger, 40% fewer food cravings and a 52% drop in anxiety among participants.

The placebo group, however, saw 64% of participants either gain weight or stay the same, with no change in BMI average.

The study found that Nitro-V works independently of diet and exercise with participants taking one to two servings of the hemp extract daily.

ECS Brands founder and CEO Arthur Jaffee said: “Nitro-V is a quantum leap forward in a space where products aimed at appetite control are frequently not backed by science or considered safe. It is a fast and effective supplement that can help manage cravings and jump-start weight loss.”

Nitro-V aids in weight loss through the use of a full-spectrum hemp extract with naturally elevated levels of non-psychoactive tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV), known as the “skinny cannabinoid”, and cannabidivarin (CBDV). Research suggests THCV and CBDV may also hold analgesic and anti-seizure properties stronger than CBD.

Science has proven that a plethora of health issues accompany obesity, with Jaffee hoping Nitro-V will assist in weight loss being less of an uphill battle.

He added: “Those working to reduce their weight and enhance their overall health are looking for any advantage they can find to help them stick to their exercise and nutrition regimens.

“With the results of these studies, we think that Nitro-V could be the tool to help many unlock their weight-loss potential and feel better.”

This research is one of four clinical studies for the Nitro-V product.
