After an extensive career in broadcast media, Kapalos produced 2016 documentary A Life of its Own, which aimed to provide clarity and understanding about the use of medicinal cannabis.

Cannatrek CEO Tommy Huppert said: “We are thrilled to have Helen join our team. Her background as a journalist and filmmaker, and her work in the medicinal cannabis industry, will make her a valuable addition to our expanding team as we continue our growing engagement with the marketplace.”

Kapalos added: “Medicinal cannabis still carries the legacy of shame and stigma. This is a safe and reliable medicine that holds enormous health benefits. I want to share what I have learned with the Australian public and work with a trusted brand and provider to do that.”
