Medicinal cannabis distributor Health House Australia (HHA) is planning to launch its own telehealth clinic in the next few months.

Owner Melodiol Global Health told the ASX the subsidiary has undertaken “significant internal analysis and planning” for the launch of the clinic which it expects to be operational in Q2 2024.

Melodiol confirmed to Cannabiz that the Health House Wellness Clinic will be a telehealth-only service, “at least initially”.

During Q1, HHA added several new suppliers to its existing base including Botanitech, Chemovar, Endoca, Quantum, and MedTEC Pharma, Melodiol said.

CEO and managing director William Lay added: “Since being Australia’s first company to import medicinal cannabis in 2017, HHA’s unwavering commitment to great service and integrity has led to it becoming one of the trusted names within the distribution of medical cannabis in Australia. 

“Additionally, we are very excited about the launch of Health House’s medical cannabis clinic in Q2 of 2024, which will serve to further strengthen HHA’s value proposition to existing and new suppliers.”

Meanwhile, Melodiol said it has received firm commitments to raise almost A$800,000 for working capital through the issue of around 180 million shares at an issue price of $0.00442 cents per share.
