Australia is hosting the 3rd Global Hemp Summit in Melbourne later this month after a gap of three years.

The gathering of leading experts in the hemp industry will be hosted by the University of Melbourne on September 27/28 with an emphasis on innovation and commercialisation.

Organised by the Centre for Advanced Manufacturing of Prefabricated Housing and the Australian Hemp Manufacturing Company, the two-day summit includes keynote presentations from Australian and international thought leaders.

The will provide insights into regenerative agronomy, sustainable construction, international research, the carbon economy, and opportunities for innovation.

Dr David Wilson from the University of Melbourne said: “We are privileged to be hosting this important event in Australia. It will appeal to professionals and researchers across the whole industrial hemp supply chain”.
