Epsilon Healthcare has appointed Richard Legge, director audit and assurance services at Ure Lynam, as its new company secretary effective immediately.
The firm told the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) Legge brings “significant company secretarial experience, in addition to a deep understanding of audit and assurance processes, which will assist the Epsilon board in preparing for [its] future development plans”.
“Mr Legge will also play an important role in supporting the board in undertaking activities required by the ASX as it works towards an orderly lifting of the suspension of trading in the company’s securities… when it has satisfied the ASX that remedial actions have been undertaken.”
The board thanked outgoing company secretary Marcelo Mora for his contributions “during what has been a tumultuous and challenging time” for the firm.
Epsilon recently emerged from voluntary administration after a turbulent period during which CEO Peter Giannopolous was fired and then reinstated amid a boardroom battle for control between former chairman Josh Cui and and new chairman Alan Beasley.
