Early-bird sales for United in Compassion’s Australian Medicinal Cannabis Symposium 2025 close next week with savings of up to 20% available until Tuesday (October 15).
This year’s event, which takes place during Medicinal Cannabis Awareness Week at Brisbane’s Royal International Convention Centre from February 21-23, will focus on ‘Optimising Quality and Compliance’.
The boss of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency’s new Rapid Regulatory Response Unit Jason McHeyzer will be in attendance along with representatives from the Therapeutic Goods Administration and Office of Drug Control.
Politicians confirmed include all four of Australia’s Legalise Cannabis MPs – David Ettershank and Rachel Payne (Victoria), Dr Brian Walker (WA) and Jeremy Buckingham – (NSW) as well as Australian Greens senator Peter Whish-Wilson.
Renowned cannabinoid researcher Associate Professor Dedi Meiri from Israel’s Technion Institute of Technology and medicinal cannabis campaigner Amazon John Easterling have also just been added to the program.
With accredited programs for prescribers, nurses and pharmacists, a regulatory compliance training session and a ‘50 shades of green’ themed party on the Saturday night, organisers told Cannabiz they are expecting a sell-out crowd.
