Cannabis franchise Releaf Group has announced a partnership with Cookies which will see the North American firm’s cultivars dispensed via prescription in Releaf outlets in Australia.
The brainchild of US rapper and entrepreneur Berner (Gilbert Milam Jr.), Cookies has nearly 50 retail locations in four countries, selling lifestyle apparel as well as recreational and medicinal cannabis.
Releaf plans to launch dedicated Cookies dispensaries in St Kilda, Victoria and Bondi, NSW in 2022 and open ‘Cookies Corners’ in each of its franchise stores.
With dispensaries currently operating in Victoria and Queensland, the company aims to expand clinical services nationwide within the next 12 months.
