The illicit market will continue to thrive in Germany unless the government adopts a liberal legal scheme that makes cannabis easy to obtain, industry leaders have warned.

Addressing the Cannabis Europa conference in London, senior executives urged the ruling coalition party not to design an overly restrictive regime, but to build one that permits online sales, is lightly taxed and which clamps down on illicit stores.
