With just four weeks to go until this year’s Cape to Cape for Cannabis event in Western Australia, organisers are urging the sector to secure places ahead of the four-day charity gathering.
Hosted by Medical Cannabis Research Australia (MCRA), the event will take place between April 17 and 20 in Margaret River.

With accommodation at Margarets Beach Resort booked out, MCRA managing director Sharlene Mavor said nearby options were available, but urged attendees to book soon as April was a busy time for the region.
Across four days, attendees will walk guided sections of the Cape to Cape track – around three to four hours per day – taking in one of Australia’s most scenic and dramatic coastlines.
The program will also include an education day featuring leading Australian clinicians and researchers, including Dr Janet Schloss, Justin Sinclair and Dr Jim Connell, alongside contributions from Dr Brian Walker MLA and former Victorian MP Fiona Patten.
The session will offer healthcare professionals an opportunity to engage with the latest clinical insights in what remains a rapidly evolving field.
A series of social events will run across the weekend, including an opening night function in Margaret River, alongside gatherings at winery cellar doors and a beachside venue with live music and food.
All proceeds will go towards MCRA’s charitable mission of supporting medicinal cannabis research, educating doctors and patients, and improving access for Australians in need.
