Australian medicinal cannabis company Cannim is making its debut on global TV series High Science tomorrow (Thursday).

Produced by Emmy Award winner David McKillop (Duck Dynasty, Ice Road Truckers, Deadliest Catch) and entertainment executive Ed Leclere, High Science takes an in-depth look at the complexities of the cannabis industry.

While the first three episodes are focused on recreational use, tomorrow’s is the first of two in the series exploring the plant’s use in medicine.

Stuart Marsh

Cannim chief growth officer Stuart Marsh interviewed patients from around the world for the show to highlight how medicinal cannabis is helping people with conditions including chronic pain, insomnia, and anxiety.

“There’s still a lot of stigma around cannabis use for medical purposes,” he said. “By sharing real patient stories, we can show how it has improved lives and help shift public perception.”

Marsh said some of the regulations around cannabis reflect its history during prohibition, rather than current knowledge of its medical applications.

“High Science gives us a chance to showcase the powerful impact of cannabis and hopefully encourage more information sharing and compassionate policies,” he added.

Cannim’s first appearance on High Science will be during episode four, airing on Thursday, December 12 at 11:20am AEDT on YouTube.
