Cannim has acquired California-based medicinal cannabis education company Holistic Caring for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 2016, the firm provides educational certificate programs to healthcare professionals looking to offer medicinal cannabis solutions to its patients.
Founder Elisabeth Mack will join Cannim as director of clinical affairs.
Chief commercial officer Stuart Marsh said: “Elisabeth’s wealth of knowledge and experience on the ground with medicinal cannabis is already delivering significant value to our partners around the world as we develop our medical outreach programs.
“Her extensive networks with healthcare professionals will be highly advantageous in this role.”
Mack is a registered nurse and sits on the boards of the American Cannabis Nurses Association, the California Cannabis Chamber of Commerce, and the Los Angeles chapter of the National Organisation for the Reform of Marijuana Laws.
Holistic Caring hosts a range of online training programs for clinicians worldwide. The courses are currently being tailored to meet the needs of healthcare professionals in individual markets.
