Cannabiz has taken out the Social Media Award at the 2021 Australian Cannabis Industry Awards, recognising the positive impact the business has had via social media.

Now in their third year, the awards reward Australian cannabis community pioneers and business professionals for industry innovation and social progress. 

They are judged by a panel of experts including Lucy Haslam (United In Compassion), Sharlene Mavor (Medical Cannabis Research Australia), Tegan Scates (High on Hemp), Justin Sinclair (Australian Medicinal Cannabis Research), and James Vosper (Australian Industrial Hemp Alliance).

Among the other winners announced today were Advocate of the Year Tom Forrest (Puro), Woman of Weed Emily Rigby (formerly Cannatek), Non-profit of the Year the Australian Medicinal Cannabis Association (AMCA) and Business of the Year FreshLeaf Analytics.

The Lifetime Achievement Award went to cannabis law reformer Andrew Kavasilas while cannabinoid medicine specialist Dr James Stewart took out the public-voted People’s Choice Award.
