Cohen: honoured to be joining the Lambert Initiative board

Cannabiz editor-at-large Rhys Cohen has been appointed to the non-executive advisory board of the University of Sydney’s Lambert Initiative for Cannabinoid Therapeutics for a two-year term.

The role of the board is to provide strategic guidance and advice to assist the university to achieve the objectives of the Lambert Initiative and to provide a mechanism for external engagement in respect of its work.

The board is chaired by the university’s deputy vice-chancellor of research, Professor Duncan Ivison, and members include Barry Lambert (chairman, Ecofibre), Carol Ireland (CEO, Epilepsy Action Australia), and Emeritus Professor and renowned cannabis scientist Roger Pertwee.

Cohen said: “It’s an honour to be invited on to the board, and I look forward to contributing to the initiative’s important work as best I can.”
