The inaugural Cannabiz Awards 2023 presentation ceremony and gala dinner has sold out.
Taking place at Melbourne’s Showtime Events Centre next Thursday (June 8) and hosted by comedian and television personality Cam Knight, trophies will be presented in 20 categories before a sold-out audience of cannabis industry peers.
Cannabiz co-founder and chief growth officer Martin Lane said: “We’re thrilled the awards have been so well-supported by the industry.
“From our amazing sponsors and judges to the companies and individuals who put so much effort into their submissions, it’s been humbling to see the sector working together to recognise its collective achievements.
“And to sell out the venue more than a week ahead of the event is the icing on the cake. Win or lose, we’re determined to make it a night to remember for everyone in the industry and a true celebration of the work they do.”
Independently judged by 36 senior industry figures, The Cannabiz Awards are sponsored by Tasmanian Botanics, Bod Science, Pharmalytics, Standard Botanic, Oz Medicann Group and CMI Safe Company, with support from Medicinal Cannabis Industry Australia, the Australian Medicinal Cannabis Association and the Emerging Therapeutics Association of Australia.
