Cann Pharmaceutical has lodged plans with Tamworth Regional Council to build a A$7.7 million cannabis farm near the north-east New South Wales city.
The company said the project would use advanced greenhouse technology to produce medicinal cannabis and be constantly monitored by security guards and CCTV.
The proposal includes a manufacturing facility, drying area and packing and distribution centre.
