Politicians and medicinal cannabis advocates have welcomed moves by Victoria’s Labor government to consider a legal defence for unimpaired patients charged with driving with THC in their systems.
Last week, Labor Upper House MP Michael Galea said the government would work with legal and road safety experts to analyse proposals from the Legalise Cannabis Party (LCP) and table a report by October 18.
