World heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua has become the latest UK celebrity to invest in the country’s burgeoning CBD market.

The 31-year-old boxer will be a major investor in CBD brand Love Hemp and work on a range of products for athletes.

He will act as an ambassador for the group, which is listed on challenger exchange Aquis, with his management company receiving an undisclosed portion of stock instead of cash.

The move comes after former footballer David Beckham announced his involvement in cannabis skincare and athletic products business Cellular Goods, which listed on the London Stock Exchange in February.
