Avecho Biotechnology has reported positive interim results from its phase III insomnia trial, raising the prospect of the company becoming the first to successfully register an over-the-counter CBD product in Australia, and internationally.
The firm said members of the Data Monitoring Board (DMB) – the only people permitted to see the early results – have recommended Avecho continue with its planned enrolment of a further 300 patients.

A brilliant job by the CEO of Avecho, Dr Paul Gavin, to have achieved the positive results that he has from the interim analysis.
