Auckland’s Whakamana Cannabis Museum – in storage since the first Covid lockdowns in 2020 – is making a comeback in the city’s iconic Hopetoun Alpha building.
Following a fundraising gala last year, cannabis expert and activist Abe Gray has teamed up with local investors to transform the venue into Green House, “the new centre of New Zealand’s rapidly growing medicinal cannabis industry”.
Green House incorporates a legal medicinal cannabis dispensary, the re-opened Whakamana Cannabis Museum, the Calyx Clinic specialist prescriber, and a patient’s social club. Food and beverage options will follow.
Greens MP Chlöe Swarbrick will officially open the facility on Friday (August 9).
