Astrid Dispensary founder and managing director Lisa Nguyen

Astrid Dispensary is hosting an event to connect patients with industry leaders in October, with Reason Party leader Fiona Patten joining a discussion about Australia’s drug-driving laws.

Taking place in Melbourne on October 1, other speakers at Astrid Assembly include doctors Jim Connell, Karen Hitchcock and Terry Nguyen, nurse Cam Rosen and Drive Change campaigner Bee Mohamed.

Two patients will also share their experiences with the medicine and there will be a guided CBD meditation session.

Founder and managing director Lisa Nguyen said: “We are proud to present the first edition of the Astrid Assembly – an event that connects our community of plant-loving patients with leaders at the forefront of Australia’s emerging medicinal cannabis industry.”
