Next month’s ACannabis conference will feature a panel discussion on Israel’s anti-dumping investigation into Canadian imports and the lessons for the Australian industry.

Israel’s economy ministry recently opened a formal anti-dumping probe amid concerns the volume of imported product could be damaging the local industry.

The news piqued the interest of Australian firms who have also faced stiff competition from imported products, most notably from Canada.

Speakers in the debate include Cannatrek general counsel and Phytoca director Andrew Dowling, ANTG COO James Gaskell, ECS Botanics MD Nan-Maree Schoerie, ASDA Consultancy Services principal Deepak Anand and Little Green Pharma CEO Paul Long.

Also new to the ACannabis program is champion jockey and Levin Health sports advisory board member Damien Oliver, who joins AFL coach and fellow board member Alastair Clarkson in conversation with Levin MD Mark Brayshaw.

Taking place at Melbourne’s Crown Promenade from March 12-14, the event features a two-day conference and gala dinner followed by an advisory and compliance day.
