The number of medical cannabis prescriptions approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration in February soared past 8,000, smashing the previous high by more than 1,700.
The extraordinary number – in a short month – was up 125% on February last year and close to 2,000 more than January 2021, official TGA figures revealed.
