New Zealand firm Greenfern Industries has attained Good Agriculture and Collection Practice (GACP) certification for its Taranaki cultivation facility as it gears up to export medicinal cannabis.
Citing a Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade report that the average farm gate price for medicinal cannabis in Germany, one of Europe’s largest markets, will be €2.20/g or NZ$3.65, managing director Dan Casey said Greenfern could grow, dry, and package product at a much lower cost than that.
